Yeah that's what happened to mine too. I don't know of anything that can reverse it. I'm glad that i'm not the only one that experienced this. I'll have to write to aprilia usa.

What about Ctrl + Alt + Del!

It works for M/Soft and there BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)!

I think you need to use pencils to push the + and V buttons for 13.9876 seconds, then push the - twice, then flash the high beams three times, then hold down the + and minus for 2.34329 seconds, then make a funny face, then release them.

It would still be easier than getting the "Service" to stop displaying.

    Guys

This is anissue which has raised it's head on anumber of bikes and Aprilia (in the Uk at least) are aware of it and have come up with a solution which dealers have apparently been briefed on.

It requires an upgrade or replacement part and will be covered under warranty.

It seems there is a fault with a batch of electronic parts.

    Wink

I don't see what the problem is, an odometer reading zero again....makes the bike looks new. Always good for selling when you can show low mileage

yeah, why would you be freaking out about something that will keep the resale of your bike up.

"two year old bike, only ridden on Sundays, never raced, only 26 miles on it from new"

i would be more worried if the bike gained miles instead of lost them.

if you make enough noise things will happen, the question is do you really want the problem fixed?

Exactly. I hope this isn't fixed on mine, as when I sell it in 2 years it would of done about 35,000 miles I reckon.

A nice reset would be nice
