OK, it's raining here again and we've been playing this on a UK site, so lets see if American taste makes a great deal of difference to the choices:

You can have three bikes in your garage, any three you want, but ONLY THREE. What do you choose?

My choices change daily, but at the moment:

Haga's R7 from WSB, gorgeous and he could put it anywhere. I remember a review of it by Trevor Franklin in a mag here a few years ago and he raved about its handling.

Triumph cruiser thing that's coming out with the 2 litre + engine, for cruising on sunny days and doing stupid rolling burnouts.

An RSV Nera for the obvious reasons!

1. Britten V1000, the 1995 BEARS World Championship winner

2. Haga's 2002 Playstation2 Aprilia SBK

3. Tuono Racing

1999 Yamaha R7 OW-O2, but a street version. I have always like that bike, but will never own one.


1993 Honda NR 750. Again, I will never own one.


2002 Tuono R. Got to cruse in confort and mine as well look good doing it.

1. VR1000 street version (woulda been a Britten, but I wanted to be original )

2. 03 DR650L

3. FJR1300

I know it's kinda boring, but I gots ta be able to do the long distance thing, and I gots ta have a hard core sport bike. The DR is jus cuz it's the modern incarnation of what in my mind is the single (pun intended) best all-around non-touring motorcycle ever built, the 83-87 Honda XL600R.

1. My Tuono, with all my mods plus a couple more that I haven't gotten to yet

2. FJR1300 for sport touring with Tifanie

3. One of the '04 liter bikes, probably R1 if judging by comfort alone, Kawi if judging for technology. I won't know for sure until I can ride one.


But 3 is clearly not enough. The collection needs a K1200LT/Goldwing class bike, a custom chopper, at least one classic bike, a 916/996/998, a 600cc track bike, and a few others for good measure. 10 bikes plus a truck and trailer, a car lift, a bike lift, and a garage full of tools would be about right.

1. i'm thinking eye candy...maybe an agusta f4 spr.

2. how about a cruiser? maybe that big ass triumph rocket.
