Heres a question for you guys..
While using the mode button while riding I got The odo, trip odo, avg speed, max speed, avg mpg, current mpg and then there is another thing where it has mileage and a picture of a fuel pump, what does that mean? I can only get it while moving and the manual sucks.

I think it only shows when the fuel light is on. It tells you how much you've rode since the light turned on. You should be able to ride another 30 miles before the tank runs empty.

Correct, mine did exactly that, it as you said told me how many miles I had done since the light had come on.

I'm a newbie when it comes to parts/mechanics so when the circlips are missing what damage does it do?

Circlips are designed to stop things falling off or coming undone, luckily in regard to the levers the pins are slightly mushroomed over so none have fallen out yet, I does make you think about them more though.

Might be worth noting that currently the circlips aren't an individual part that can be warrantied. I'm getting a whole new brake lever out of it...

Bizarre but I ain't complaining as I'll have a near complete spare.

never had a problem, going down from second to neutral seems slicker than up from first

Here's my neutral finding tip...

If I find myself in first (or second) and stopped I snick the gear lever up (or down) while just rocking the bike forward a little.
Works a treat as it takes the pressure off the gears.

It was sticky for the first couple hundred miles, but seems to snick in easier now. Thanks to the forum for the tips on rocking it back and forth a bit, worked like a charm.
