    Replacing clutch lever

I'm trying to replace my broken clutch lever, but I'm not sure how the barrel comes out. The locking pin is the small hex pin in the bottom of the barrel right? and this needs to come out first? I tried to loosen it but it feels like I'm about to break the hex key, so I just want to make sure I'm doing this in the right order.

that pin locks the free play adjusting screw and has to be removed.

take a visual memory on that screw - it needs to be in its close aproxmate place when re instaled - to little play and the clutch will slip - to much play and the clutch will drag.

trust me - ive done both.

snug it up good when you replace it.

use 1.5 mm allen key - it will come out.

    good luck.............d magi

In many cases, Brembo used a Loctite or epoxy to fix the 1.5mm hex screw in place.
Try a small pencil torch to heat it before forcing the screw loose.

Thanks for the help. A little heat and it came right out.
