    Shift Indicator

Does anyones shift indicator seem really slow? The one im speaking of is the electronic display that tells you what gear you are in.
If I start off it will show 1st gear right away. The moment I shift into 2nd the display just goes blank. If I keep in second long enough it will re-appear. The same goes for 3rd through 6th. Sometimes it will not appear at all unless I shift down a gear and them back up!

I'm thinking I have someting messed up. Anyone having the same issue?

    Thanks,

    Keith

just the way it works. It is a sensor and is doing calculations. takes awhile to register. Feature, not a bug.

    Hi

I think the problem is that you don't let the grip of the clutchhandle. You have to let it go all the way back otherwise the sensor will not send the signal to the display.
But the sensor is really slow as Nostatic says.

I'm from Sweden and my english is'nt that god but i hope you understand what I mean

    Welcome Fr3ddan.

I was gonna say the same thing.
    Don't "ride the clutch".

On mine it takes about one second to show the gear once you have let out the clutch fully.

    Thanks,
You guys were correct. I was driving with my fingers just resting on the clutch lever. All it takes is just a little pressure and the display will go blank.

    Thanks again!
