"Does anyone have a starting problem with thier tuono? i have 2000 miles on my 08' tuono and today i drove a little, parked it, and came outside 30 minutes later and the bike would'nt start. it just made a clicking noise under the seat...all the lights worked and guages, so it wasn't a dead battery, however after ten minutes of trying the start button, changing gears up and down, locking and unlocking the stearing, i finally tried to pop start the beast. well that didn't work .. however i hit the start button after trying and it fired right up? is this something i should be worried about or is this just a weird occurance with the starter? "

Hey louroof, I've not come across that problem myself and I'm definitely not a skilled mechanic or motorcycle troubleshooter so no help there, sorry... I suggest you post a new thread in the forum rather than asking here in this thread, someone is more likely to see it in a thread of its own and chime in.

I have read all the oil recommendations, etc. Question:

I have new left over MOTOREX Power Synt 4T 10W/60. Used in my recently departed 996. Is this OK to use in 2007 TUONO with wet clutch. Good, but expensive oil and would like to use up if OK.

Reset the Service Light:
Enter code 13432 in the diagnostics menu and scroll down to reset service light option.
After entering the above code, this is also where you can change miles/km.

How do you get to the diagnostic menu on a 07 rsv?

Bro you seem knowledgeable. I am curious about a few things as I am a fairly new Tuono owner. My bike seems like it needs oil added occasionally. The gauge reads low after 500 miles or so. Also sometimes the thing just shuts off. Usually at a stop or when moving very slowly. I have an 07 I bought with 425k on it im up around 1600 miles now. If you have any ideas or similar experiences please share them. Thanks for your time!!
