    Exclamation Any TEXAS Riders?

Hey, this is my first post, I just wanted to see how many Aprilia riders there are in Houston, TX or close to houston (dallas, ausin, san antonia, etc.). Secondly, i was wondering if there are any meets in southeast TEXAS. - Ali

We're out there! I'm in San Antonio but I know that there are Futura owners in Austin, Houston, and the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas too.

There have been a couple of attempts at get togethers in the HIll Country that met with some limited success. If you are planning a ride or get together post a note on the forum and see if anyone else is available that day! Also post to the rst1000.org mail list. There are some folks there who may not be read this forum.

    Mee!

In Austin, so are the guys that sponsor this forum. Seen lot's of Houston Aprilia's at the shop, including the only Tuono Racing I have ever seen in person. They have bike nites on Tuesday and there's usually 60-70 bikes if the weather is fine. Also check out http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/fo...s=&forumid=145
    Lot's of Texas riders there.

    Cheers!

    Hey Bejon7, this might help...
I just bought some new "warm" gloves the other day. I went to K's Motorsports 59 North, didn't do it online since I wanted to try them on to make sure they were comfortable. They have a couple different options there (Joe Rocket, etc). We pulled off the tag when I bought them, and there is no label with a name of the glove, but I think it said something like "for riders who ride..." The gloves only say "Dry Tech - Muti-layer water proofing system", and the receipt says "SB GLO Large Blacktop Glove". $60+tax. Although I haven't really tried them out yet in the bitter cold, I believe the will be quite warm (and are very comfortable).

Ed, Jon, Jayme and I all live here in Austin...we do not have quite enough Aprilia's that are street legal for a ride but if you are down for a trackday we will be at most of the Texas events next year.

Micah: claims the shop RSVR and RS50
Ed: shop RSVR and Honda 900RR
Jayme: stupid fast on the RS70 and his Honda 600RR
Jon: Getting faster every day on his RS250 and sick on his SR50

Im in North Side too, near Willowbrook Mall. Im planning on getting a bike next week, hopefully it'll be the RSV-R! Regardless of what i get, we should all get together sometime, northsiders (+kingwood) and sugarlanders.

I vote for Bejon7's plan, us Houston area Aprilia people need to unionize.

Where are you going to get your RSVR from Bejon7?
