What The Hell Happened!!!

Ok im in the wrong forum i no but you guys may be able to help.
So i took my Rs 125 FROM London to Southend today. Filled her up with oil before i left and filled the tank. Rode all the Way to Southend fine and dandy. On the way back it was raining. got about 10 mins from home and she cuts out. "Ok no worrys i think prob run out of petrol" so pull over and switch to reserve. Try to start her and she wont start "ok no worrys i think" il bump start her and she's having none of it look in tank got plenty of petrol Try and Try again not happening. Start WALKING! her home and think sod il try one last time and she starts! What happened and how can i fix it?

I would be leaning towards a ignition problem rather than fuel on the count of the rain, pull the plug try to fire it up and see if its sparking if not check to see if you're ign. wire or coil have cracks in them wich may let in moisture.
