The Puig screen looks pretty good to me. It strikes me as a decent solution if you want something bigger than the Aprilia one. The mounting arrangement is not to my taste at all though, it's a shame that they didn't copy Aprilia's design on that front.

Yeah, but what else could they do with the taller screen?

I'm still waiting for a reply from the other dealer here but maybe one of you European guys might be my only hope in the end.

    I'm not in a rush.

I thought the R&G aeros were supposed to be on the other way around?
Was that just 'cos you like them more that way?

i agree, the mounting is horrible..

what do you mean "the other way around"? i didnt choose how they will fit. I just gave all protectors to the Aprilia mechanic and also gave the fitting instructions which were inside the package from R&G
Are there more than one ways to fit ?

The plastic bit can be rotated, normally they are placed such that the teardrop shape faces forward. (the R&G logo will fit either side, so wouldn't be upsidown)

Just goes to show how crap Aprilia mechanics are

Maybe they are more aerodynamic that way.

You could probably just turn them by hand unless he has done them up really tight. Then just take the R&G thingies out and swop sides. Be careful when you take them out though 'cos I nearly broke the little plastic tabs on mine when I did it.
I think a flat head screwdriver of the right size would work best to prize them out.

the funny thing is there are specific instructions inside. Just think what they would have done if they had to improvise..
i ll try to do it asap and see what happens, thanks

Yep they are the wrong way round you will have to take them off again and swap sides

Don't worry it's not a big job, remove the covers in the ends of the protectors and undo the bolts, swap them side to side and reverse the removal procedure.

I'm guessing the mechanic didn't even read the instructions and just fitted them.
you should have done it your self Shiverdog, you would have clearly done a better job and they would be on the right way round.

Well, if you like them this way, why not keep them like this?

Are you sure about that Dan?
I'm pretty sure they will just turn and you just have to swop over the two little R&G plugs.
