    fire_2869......firefighter?.

In that case, hello fellow smoke eater!!!.

Going with the "work" pictures, here's me taking a break during a rope rescue exercise at work:-

Little monkey on the ladder has a story. A bunch of us on another forum sent him all over the world for charity, taking pictures of him at various locations. Each time he passed to the next person in line we made a donation to our chosen charity fund. Little guy has been all over the globe and raised a fair bit of cash!!!.

Here he is sat in my tank bag last summer on the Mille at the top of Glen Ogle in Perthshire, Scotland:-

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

And another one for the girls,

    FUCK THE MAGS

Never live the same day twice. (My wife nearly pissed her self laughing when she read my signature line, because she reckons she has never met anyone in the whole of her life who hates change more than me) She does have a point .

The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present instant of his flight; he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future; he is wrenched from the continuity of time; he is outside time; in other words he is in a state of ecstasy. In that state he is unaware of his age, his wife, his children, his worries, and so he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear.
