This is me on the on the MF Racing Kawasaki zx6-R at Assen 2006. I designed the paint for this bike, logo and team clothing. Was a good year walking around in the pits of Assen almost every month. Not in the team anymore but it was a good time.

I generally don't stand still when someone points a camera in my direction.

All anyone needs to see anyway...

    Fancy Myself Rainey

Funny reading Derrick's Hodgson story. Back in the early 90s, the last time the 500GPs were in the US, I used to worship Rainey, Lawson & Schwantz. I had an RZ350 and the Eddie Lawson Replica GRV Shoei helmet, the Lawson Dainese leathers and the whole nine yards.

Later I got an RZ500, but people used to stop me all the time, especially when I'd be wearing the leathers and say "Wayne?" People used to think I looked exactly like Wayne Rainey. Same thing at Laguna Seca. I remember being at Speedway one night and these 2 girls came up to me saying that and all I could think of was "I can be if that works for your fantasy." I even remember Nick Ienatsch telling me that at the Cycle World show.

So, then Wayne Rainey came to a Bike Night here in So Cal one Christmas time to sign copies of his book and stuff. I told him the story so he signed his GP poster to me: To Wayne, from Wayne.

Here's a pic of me with Colin in the Aprilia booth. I know I don't look like him anymore.

It's funny that very few of you look like I thought you would.

Japseyeogri, you look even less Japanese than you sound.

I thought you would be older cwalker, as I did Hank.
