Even the paddock stand is mega cool.

Now all you need to do is make 5000 of them and go racing in WSB.

Beautiful work here. I want to get on a plane this spring and go ride this beast! The weight reduction is of critical importance obviously but the overall look and design work is staggeringly good as well. Color me impressed with your work. Now that Rotax will soon be shopping for customers for the V990 engine maybe you can make a production reality of this bike.

What a stunning piece of engineering.

I understand the absolute no compromise effort that you have put into this race bike, so dare I ask Klaus, but do you see a "dumbed down" road version in the future for the minions?

i have to say that this people did a grat job well done, but i have to say that the bike looks the same like the new KTM 1190 rc8 exactly the same.
I like the exhaust system let ask if we can fit the same exhaust in our bikes.

Kostas, i have to say that is a little unfair. Both designs have a similar aesthetic, yes. But to say they are exact....is a little insulting.

    That's one awesome machine.
IMHO the swinger frame mount looks more Shiver than KTM, and rsv nose which is a good thing. Orange logo and tank shape feel KTM.

Who cares though, It looks better than the mega-budget cbr1krr and zx10

hi guys , thanks for the compliments.

@ velocityjunky: the whole bike is designed with the CAD-program Unigraphics NX

@ kostas: yes some people think it looks like ktm's RC8. but i think that some edges and an "underengine exhaust" don't make it identical. whatever, have more detailed look and you will find at least some differences.

and, 155kg dry weight, will be some kg's less than the RC8!

this bike started just for private fun, but we will found a company and produce the KALEX AV1 in a very limited edition and offer engineering services, fabrication, pit equipment, and parts on demand. hope this will work out.

what is the minimum to make a bike road legal for the US? any hints?

    cheers

    Alex

    Cool

That bike is truly magnificent! I wish you the very best with this venture.
The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present instant of his flight; he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future; he is wrenched from the continuity of time; he is outside time; in other words he is in a state of ecstasy. In that state he is unaware of his age, his wife, his children, his worries, and so he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear.
