My name please on the FG670........... I will drop you an email today to jog your memory. I think the FG700 will be too rich even second hand!! But never say never.
Does that mean you'll possibly have a spare set of forks if/when you get the 670's?
If so I'd be really interested...

nigel, wherever you will get forks from, if you're after the (basic for rsv) settings, just gimme a shout, i'll e-mail them to you.... i'll include the settings from my bike too, but mind you, they're 'a tad' extreme...

Ok someone help a brutha out.

You guys are talking about rebuilding the stock front Ohlins with different internals right? Can someone point me at some part numbers for what you are talking about "superbike internals"? I'm sorta thinking about having my front forks redone for my weight and stuff. If I'm going to go to the trouble of taking the forks off the bike and have them rebuilt, then I want to do it right.

You will probably have more luck with superbike/motogp components if you start a thread up in the RSV4 board or down on the Aprilia Parts and Accessories board. Most of the members that have posted on this thread haven't been here for years.

Try Maxton, they do two types fork conversion and I heard they are affective, I am having my Ohlins done next year on my 05 factory, I already have Maxton rear shock.
Not too far from you either, have a look on their site.
