is it possible to raise the position of the gear lever by about 1-2 inches?
and (roughly) how much would it cost to get done at the dealers?

Yes, you can - the rod that goes from the gear selector to the gearbox has two nuts on it; loosen those, and you can turn that rod - rotating it one way drops thelever, the other way lifts it up.
I dropped mine so I din't hit so many false effin' neutrals! The most embarrassing thing I do on my RS.... now my toe just naturally hovers over it for down-shifts and I hook my toe under it for up-shifts.
You got those Akira Setup boots, yes? They look mad! Looks like you'd have to hoik your whole leg up to change up in them bad boys![]()
or you can take the shifter off the spline on the gearbox and push it back on at a different angle to suit.
