    Gear lever height

(I`m not mechanically minded so sorry if this sounds like a dumb question)

is it possible to raise the position of the gear lever by about 1-2 inches?
and (roughly) how much would it cost to get done at the dealers?

    cheers lads

Yes, you can - the rod that goes from the gear selector to the gearbox has two nuts on it; loosen those, and you can turn that rod - rotating it one way drops thelever, the other way lifts it up.

I dropped mine so I din't hit so many false effin' neutrals! The most embarrassing thing I do on my RS.... now my toe just naturally hovers over it for down-shifts and I hook my toe under it for up-shifts.

You got those Akira Setup boots, yes? They look mad! Looks like you'd have to hoik your whole leg up to change up in them bad boys

or you can take the shifter off the spline on the gearbox and push it back on at a different angle to suit.
Modifications; 34mm carb, Foam filter, Carbon reeds, 16-40 Renthal sprockets and Gold O-ring chain, Dominator twin Headlight, Mini alloy indicators, Single seat alloy tail fairing, Shotgun rear lights, Wavey disc, Arrow exhaust (got JL but its wank so took it off) Polished stainless bolts everywhere
