foot rests damn youuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!

okay so my foot rest nearest the break pedal decided to snap today but im nt bothered as i knew the rs would have more problems than a pregnant virgin. But the only problem is ill have to ride 20miles to the only aprilia dealer in the isle of man lol so wat i wanted to no was is there a way i can lock up the break pedal for a short time so i have summit to rest my feet i mean if worst cums to worst ill jst gaffatape summit to the fairing to rest my feet on but still...so can any1 help?

i snapped mine off, and just took one off pillion behind, job done, is a bit wobbly ( was in a rush couldnt fit pin) but is still on.! should do the job! did for me pal
