Yeah, Kings' Park is really shit

All that sun and fresh air... I don't know how you stand it! Your skin turns into a leather bag, the house needs painting every couple of years and the 'sticky tar days' mean you are forever out with the kero and a rag.

Continual grey cloud cover is the white mans natural environment.

Reckon I'll be evolving fins at this rate...

My Yam packed in on the M5 yesterday in a hooooooge long downpour, but got going (soaked electrics - 18yr old bike) and then died at work and was a bastard to get home on - it was raining again

I hope it ain't last this for the GP. Stood in it last year was no fun, but watching Rossi sail to victory made up for it

Ha ha MikeT, you nearly got it! South Perth fore shore mate!
I will keep all those bad trhings in spades !

Can u guys see if you can organise a little bit of summer (over 20 c and blue sky) for the race please. I dont even like watching TV with cloudy days. Let alone seeing lots of woolies in the crowd! Makes me shiver thinking about it.

    RM,

Time goes fast as you get older. It was 2005 when it rained and Rossi won. Last year it was a scrorcher but Rossi came second to Pedrobot. Was still a good race though as he came through from 7th with a bad wrist injury

Anyway, I hope that doesn't mean we're due a wet race

    RG,

I don't know what it is but the background on that photo looks as real as the cardboard cut-out on my 'Rossi at the airport' shot

That'll be why I didn't recognise it then - I'm sure that Southie was off limits to me

    I'll keep the hills, thanks

    Believe me, it is!

And the weather is like that for around 250+ days of the year.

Jeeesus.... T'was indeed the year before! I watched it on TV last year. How else did I marvel at those overhead shots of Rossi's outbreaking duel with Melandri down the back straight (with a beer in my hand?)! Alzheimers methinks.

Hope it's dry for this year anyway.
