Oh, I've had a few bikes....
Welcome matey must agree with the other fellas, this is a great site/forum.
get some pics up as soon as. what colour and why a "t"?![]()
The original Blue and White!
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level then beat you with experience
helloooo EEEP. Welcome, and as you've come from a Falco it would be a waste of time asking you why you bought the T. Anyone that would pay good money for a Falco - and then update it to a T is a lost cause!![]()

Welcome EEEP
Get the dealer to fit the smaller front sprocket straight away.
It's worth softening off the suspension as it's pretty hard on the stock set up, unless you are a heavyweight!
Next modification is generally some new pipes and changing the chip to map 2 (the dealer can do this easily)
You really only need three things for bike maintenance
If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape
If it doesn't move and it should - WD40
...and if it falls off and you want to reattach it - Cable ties.
Hey EEEP .. Welcome .. am a newbie to and find this forum to be really friendly and helpful

Tuono R 2007 in Matt Black
Akrapovic slip on cans
Double bubble
15 tooth front sprocket
Thanks for the tip Twin4me.
I have just been on to dealer, top blokes and they said yes we always fit the 15tooth and set it to map 2 as a matter of course.
So just have to wait and get it now.
Been surfing around here, lots of good info but making me sick waitin for it to turn up.

Don at Southern Cross backed both of mine off, it gave a more compliant smoother ride, it was bouncing off the top of bumps previously. I've got an Ohlins now, which is a lot better.Originally Posted by TUONOAPE
IMHO hard suspension is not the best option for normal riding, OK on a nice smooth track, but not for crappy pot holed UK roads.

Just make sure that you have your sags set on the rear, because if you haven't then your 'harsh' ride might be due to the fact that you have way too much sag (not enough spring preload) rather than too much compression (shock). Anyway, if you only do one thing to your bike piss off the sachs rear because the ohlins is cheap (AF1) and totally transforms it - even if you just want to tour on it ()

eeep and rscosworth, I'm in Edinburgh. Just did a trackday at knockhill last weekend (dry for once), if you're up for it, the next one I'm doing is on Sat 14th July. Let me know.
in the meantime, here's an onboard video of a lap of the T.

Don't set it to map 2 unless you've installed aftermarket exhaust.Originally Posted by EEEP
