    Alice's?

I haven't heard much discussion about stopping by Alice's in the afternoon? Is that still the plan? I won't be able to make the whole ride, but I'd sure like to make it up to Alice's to check everybody out. Please let me know if that's still the plan and the projected time. Thanks.

    How Funny!

Yeah, be careful not to follow any parade floats decorated with...uhhh...you know. The Aprilia guys and a few thousand "friends"...it would be a moment that lived in infamy!

Yeah, I hear they have huge vagina floats as well as lesbian biker broads wearing shirts with large holes so their breasts show.

    The Females

They call themselves "Dikes on Bikes". No joke. At work where we are *told* to be PC I enjoy asking the toolroom clerk for a pair of dikes...I mean sidecutters.

    shagene,

Alice's is mentioned in the original post. The iron butt riders will be going to Alice's from the Junction Cafe. We'll get to the Junction Cafe around noon, and stay for about an hour or so. It will take over an hour to get to Alice's. I can't give you an exact time, but I would estimate between 2:30 and 3:30pm.

1 hour to get from Scuderia, through Redwood Rd. to the gas station at N. Livermore? Hope I can keep up. I don't know the mileage and haven't done that route, but that seems pretty fast. Should be fun. :p :smokin:

    Dave,

I'm picking up my Tuono from Factory Pro Friday with the custom mapping, Evo race airbox, and fuel pressure modifier. I'll have lot to talk to you Tuono owners at the Junction Cafe!

Sounds like you may only need 40 minutes to get to the Livermore meeting point.

    SF rider - any suggestions

    Hey RTS,
I'm coming out for Laguna. Although Gialo will be at home, I, and the guys will be on a VFR, K75, and 1100R. We are interested in going up the PCH, down to yosemite and the sequoias and then end up back at laguna on Friday. Any suggestions? I have already gone to pashnit, and made some progress, but local help would be appreciated.

you can ping me offline at greer_james@hotmail.com

    thanks!

Re: SF rider - any suggestions

    Jimbob,

Once you get to the Bay Area, you can go to Napa (Wine Country), go through Lake Barryessa to Calistoga (have lunch here), then to Geyserville to Healdsburg, over Skaggs Springs road to PCH. From there, go south all the way until you hit the Golden Gate bridge.

Then jump back onto highway 92 (from 280), half way up, left on highway 35. Have another meal at Alice's restaurant. From here you can continue on 35 or go down (west) on 84 to PHC. My recommendation would be to continue on 35 to highway 9. Continue on 9 to Santa Cruz. Back onto PCH all the way to Laguna.

Should be a great 2-days worth of riding. And if you got the time, feel free to stop by Marin BMW (in San Rafael) for refreshments and AC.

    Ride Well!

    Aprilia Demo Day

For any one who is interested. California Speed-Sports of Livermore and Aprilia are hosting their 2nd annual demo day at the Junction on Sunday July 6th. On hand for demo use will be the Tuono, RSV Mille, Caponord, Futura, and the Atlantic 500. Also on display will be Colin Edward's own personal RSV Mille R Replica as well as the new Tuono Racing, both are arriving from Italy next week and have not been seen in the U.S. before. They have also organized a ride up to the Junction starting at California Speed-Sports at 8:15am. Call Terry at Speed-Sports for more info (925)606-1998 or goto www.speed-sports.com for more info.

Looks like I'll be wearing the perforated white leathers tomorrow. Sure is hot these days, probably really hot in Livenomore.

Yeah, we're going to stay clear of Market St., so as not to be caught up in the Dykes on Bikes section of the Pride Parade.
