This is the exact same thing that happened to me, it was stuck solid. What i did was to get a screwdriver in from above and lever it out. then when it moved a bit i would spray carb cleaner(wd40 will do) on the bit that i could see. then I would push it back in and try and lever it back out again, each time it would come out a bit more. Be careful thought when trying to lever it as it could bend if you don't keep it straight. It may seem as though it will never come out but eventually it will.

yep although yours looks a bit more oily to me. Must have been hard work getting that bugger out. It will make a big difference once cleaned, a lot smooter and faster.
That blade will have been sticking too...
How many miles the bike done? that looks like its runig way to right or has been stuck for a long while or useless oils have been used.

if the pv got stuck, some tip here. first warm up the engines, then rev ya bike bout 1-2 minutes, after that wait the engines cool down, lastly try to pull the pv again.

that was one hell of a bastard to get out!!!
the blade now is half the size it was!
the oil and residue was caked on,this must have been the 1st clean its ever had for sure

but yeah the light has beaten me today so i will resume in the morning,so i guess this will have sorted my problems now guys?
i.e boggy and slow dramatically b4 pv kicks in?
i hope so,if nothing else i have found that there is bolts missing that shouldnt be......god only know why they are not there

I just discovered that 2 on the left side are missing, so i moved the top one from the right side and put it into the bottom missing hole on the left, i dunno if its me but im sure the ride is alot smoother,

well... i aint got a cdi restriction, my bike is to old.,, but when my pv was stuck open all the time it was very grumpy upto 7.8k rpm then flew, it was hard to pull away, hardly any accelleration. i think this worse than being restricted.

I got same model as Canivor But My pv Blade Is Knackered if I was 2 take the blade out & do evreything back up wud I have constant power flow or wud it run like cr@p ?![]()
trust me its crap until 8k rpm, its almost like flooding the engine.
