ok I allready posted a thread saying my bike was in a fire and that the only thing the servived was the engine and that i didnt get to claim on the insurance so now am trying to make some money back by selling the engine and other parts which arent to damadge like the metrakit exhaust and wheels and shock.
The engine my pride and joy which i spent so much on and had to do a full engine rebuild on. The engine has got everything from my signiture and it ran amazingly and of course it would run even better on the rs since it is more airodynamic (sorry its early for me if my spelling if rubish).
The only problem with the engine is it was in a fire so all the small rubber bits have melted off and all the wires are gone and the left side with the sator melted off because it was also plastic and also the plastic manifol is no where to be seen.
but the main bit of the engine turns over and the big bore isnt damage becuz its designed to get hot and so is a lot of the engine.
The engine would be perfect for some who is about to do a full engine rebuild.
It also has a kick start on it... not 100% sure about it but i think u could put the starter motor on to it if u changed other the side with the clutch and the small gears to it over. still is simpler than rebuilding the whole of the engine.
am wanting just some of the money back from the performance parts all had barely ran in.
what do you lot think i should do?.. is it simple to convert it into a electric start? you would need an rs50 donor engine but it would still be simpler and cheaper than a full engine rebuild that i did.
Dont be too harsh with your comments am still morning the death of my bike but could do with some advice or decent offers.
Motorhispania furia which had Polini 80cc kit with reeds and exhaust power boster, PMTuning race crankshaft,ront sprocket 15t, metrakit exhaust and racing clutch.
