right my bike wasnt starting on the button, sounded like a fuel problem as battery was full, starter was spinning perfect and it was running a bit lean, so today i changed the plug cap and cleaned my carb and it was fine and started on the button 3 or 4 times, so i went for a ride came off, got my workstuff went out the bike was still hot and it wouldnt start on the button????help please
was the sparky wet??

didnt check mate, and thanks Andy lol, im going to strip carb and clean it properly with some petty and compressed air instead of carb cleanerand take fuel lines off give them a clean aswel
found the problem guys, well i was totally baffled new plug new lug cap clean carb loads of petrol clean fuel lines, starter was spinnin fine and everything just wouldnt startSo me and my dad where having a think and thought that maybe the battery is just knackerd and the voltage drop is too high when you press 'start' so i got a mulitmeter on batter it read 11.76 which is too low anyway and when i hit start it dropped to 7v
lol so i used ma dads battery and it started fine, new battery £12 not too bad
