    CDI unit

i have read many times on the forums now about the stock CDI unit not being able to handle extended periods of revs over 10,000. so, im considering swapping my CDI to a non stock one before it's too late and i get stranded away from home.
but, where can i get one from?
i have heard the top performance (yellow?) ones are good and not very expensive.
any where in the UK i can buy one from?

    thanks guys.

Not sure,, i usually just walk in to my dealer and demand he gets what i want, and it's usually not a problem, might be worth a try.

sorry, i have no idea what it is like.
BUT, the DR 73.5 kit is exactly the same as the black TP 73.5 , so maybe the cdi's are the same, just a thought.

    thanks for that link.
the difference is lots of money

i have looked at the yellow one ( http://beedspeed.com/cdi-dr-9910150-...59a9f233d4aff3 )
is that what i need? no extra cables or anything? it'll be a straight swap?

    thanks for your help.

oh, and after looking at the site, i think DR is top performance.

lol, i want one more for peace of mind than anything else. and i have the money, just it has to go to tyres and not this because i havent checked my tyres for a while (and they were loew before) so they might even be below the legal limit now, going to have to order the new ones ASAP
