    Help needed locating UK Futura

    Hi Guys

I need to know if anybody on this site owned or knows who owned a Futura registration KX03 HSC.

The reason I ask as I have just bought it today from Universal Auctions and I wanted to contact the previous owner.
I already own one but this was too good of an opportunity to miss as it has only got panel damage on the n/s and I was lucky enough to be given a couple of spare panels when I purchased my Fut so I can now use these to make it look new (ish) again.

    Cheers
    Ryan

Does the V5 not have the previous keeper's name and address on it? They used to...

Other than that, VSC probably means it was first registered in Scotland.

    How much did you pay?

Yes you are right the V5 will have the address on it but I am being impatient.

As I bought it from an insurance auction you get no paperwork so I have sent off for the V5.

It is a 2003 model and the damage is only cosmetic (lower fairing, wing mirror and gear lever) which I was lucky to get spares with mine when I bought my 2000 model recently and it is the same colour so hopefully it is a case of bolting on the new ones.

It has 10,000 miles on it and is standard. I paid £1800 for it and the Parkers guide valued it at around £3700.

I am looking forward to riding a standard one as mine has had the air box mod, Lower front sprocket and BEF exhaust fitted to it when I bought it so it will be good to see the difference between them both

Hmmm. The difference is it will be slower, although top speed will be about 4mph higher. If that makes sense....
