Hi Amurai, seeing as its almost a year since the original Map List, has there been any updates over the last 10 months.? I am hoping to book my UK 2007.5 RSVR into my local dealer on friday to switch to map 2, looking at your original list would MAP -266536 - Map2 be the most up to date?

    Thanks Mike

Mike, therre has not been any software or map updates for the RSVR since the AXONE 5.0.6 back in March of 2006.

Unless you are using a really big exhaust like the EVO-6, you should be fine with 266536 and map-2, that is what I run on my 07.5 US bike.

    good morning guys,

i have a slight problem with my new power commander. its a pcusbIII #908-410 (908-411), made for a aprilia rsv1000r 07 factory.
so far so good. i think i connected all the wires at the right spot.
the race mode II is activated. when i use the throttle, the lights are moving up on the pc.
my problem are the maps. non of them are working with the pc! i am able to ride the bike for a couple kilometers, after that the engine stops. a minute later the engine starts again and doesn't really takes on any gas.
maybe somebody has an advice, which map i should use with the german or european 07 model.
the mille has the akra pipes, which came as a gift from aprilia. it has an open airbox and an kn filter.
right now i am pretty clueless.
i never had any of these problems with my suzuki gsx-r 1000 k5.
the pc did a good job there.
thanks for your help anf greetings from cologne, germany.

    What year is your bike?
After switching to Map-2 did the bike run OK before installing the PC3?
Did you set the PC3 throttle position adjustments for minimum and max throttle?

Please go back and read my post again, there is a good reason I say not to download any maps from the DJ website nor copy a map from another bike.
You need to have a custom map made for your bike.

    hey amauri,

thanks for the fast answer. my bike is a rsv 1000r, 2007.
the bike was running perfectly after it was set to race mode.

the map i use is: M908-517

European Model-, Akrapovic Slip Ons CE approved (Db Killer installed), Stock or aftermarket air filter, Stock ECU set to Map 2 (race mode) by Aprilia dealer

its suppose to be for the model 2007

i know it is just a temporary map for the bike. i will get a specific map done as soon i can ride the bike to the dealer.
i am not expecting that the dyno map is the ultimate.

i did the same with my gsx-r 1000 k5 before.
    greets
    michael

Set the PC3 to all zeros and adjust the throttle min/max settings on the PC3 software.

This is a perfect example of why I say not to use the generic maps available for download.

M908-517 is a map that DJ also lists for a 2004 RSVR.
There is a big difference between a 2004 and 2007 RSVR.
    Different ECU, different cylinder head.

The problem is that no one knows what version ECU software was on the "donor bike" that DJ used to generate their maps.

Your 07 bike is totally different, don't use the downloaded maps.

the map is suppose to be for the newer models.
at least thats what the discription on the bottom of
the map says. i will just disconnect the pc and ride the bike
to the dealer with the original race mode mapping.
do you have a map what comes at least close to my engine?
i know what you said before! its just a question.
    take care

DJ does not have any way of testing and making PC3 maps for all the bikes.

All the bikes I've mapped with the PC3 have been modifyed, different exhausts, 100mm pistons, etc...

I don't even bother keeping any PC3 maps.
I ride an 07 RSVR on the stret but it is totaly stock, no exhaust and no PC3.

Sorry but I don't have any maps I could recommend.

    hey amauri,

i still have trouble with the powercommander. the zero map didn't work at all.
i could drive the bike for twenty minutes and after that it started to get
problems. at the time i could accelerate and nothing happens. it was like somebody was choking the engine. after taking out the pc the aprilia was running like hell. it was amazing. no comparison to the bike with the pc installed and a zero map. i am afraid that the pc is broken.
    what do you think?
    thanks
    michael

    update!

i got a new powercommander from dyno germany. they were pretty cool about it. on top i got a mapping done. the bike runs amazingly. what a difference.
i was just a little bit shocked about the actual horsepower. (07 model)
it has 126 ps on the rear tire. where did the rest go?

I installed my PC3 and I need to have my map switched to race 2. I'm in Fresno and my dealer said he wouldn't do it for me due to California law, even though the bike is registered as a non op. I've heard about a O2 sensor from dynojet that lets you use the race1 mode with the PC3, but I haven't talked to anyone thats used one. Can I get some input?

I have a 2004 RSVR, with filter and open arrows.
Faster than some, Slower than most

    ThunderHill?
    Infineon?

    G'day Amauri
I have recently bought a new ignition lock and keys along with the new ECU. The bike starts and runs fine (04 Haga replica with Titanium exhausts).
Have I understood correctly that the bike should go to the dealers to have the correct mapping installed?
    Thanks for your help.
