I took a left over piece of oil line, a PCV threaded coupling like this one:

Epoxied the oil line onto it (it pushed in very tightly to the inside of the threaded end).
Then I stuffed some PCV filter material in the pipe end, put a screw across the end to keep it from blowing out then pushed it on to the nipple in the airbox.
Whaddya think?
(sorry the flash blew out the PVC part)
I'm not totally happy with it though and am thinking of using one of these:
I found these recently on ADVrider:
http://mondomotos.com/lighting/led/mm10
http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751838

$130, complete with wiring harness and switch.

I also got this controller:
http://www.lights.skenedesign.com/IQ_175.shtml

After looking at various possible mounting points, I finally decided on using the frame sliders.
It was pretty easy to grind a flat spot then mount the brackets.
I also installed the Skene Designs Intelligent controller referenced earlier.
The cool thing about the controller is that you can have multiple brightness settings, one for the switch "off" position, one for the switch "on" position and one for high beams active.
There is also an alert feature that gets invoked when you flash your high beams twice.

Anyway, I'm really impressed with the build quality of the Mondo Motors lights. The whole package is really well thought out. I haven't ridden with them yet, hopefully I don't irritate other drivers, these things get BRIGHT (and a bit glarey to be honest).
Haven't tried to track down the problem yet, but the switch still makes noise when I pull the front brake. Is the brake lever switch a common failure on these bikes? Other than a broken wire or short, what else can it be? Already checked the fuses - that's not it.
Any help appreciated.
Do they make bolts that are hollow to allow the wires to run through them? Not high on my list, but something that looks like it could really improve the look of the rear of the bike.

I had the chance to get a dyno pull the other night. Numbers were decent, but Nels' procedure of messing with the vacuum tubes at the MAF sensor was something to watch.
He noticed that I was pretty rich at idle and above - running Gabro's latest dual map chip (for the dual's/modded header crossover trick).
With the tank up, 4-gas analyzer in the single Akra, he pinched off first one of the wee vacuum hoses off of the MAF going to the front, then the rear jugs while watching the readout on the video screen and tweaking the TB screws to adjust the amount of vacuum produced.

What he decided was the bike was happiest with rear jug @ almost 2 turns out, front at about 1.1
Yes, it idles a tad lumpier than where I had it set, and I may dial it down a bit, but here's the question:

The ECU trim pots, being activated, were not touched;
They not only control the low speed/idle mixtures, but also the rest of the RPM range, so:
I don't think that dialing the rear pot leaner would have helped, or would it? (and we were a bit rushed, 8 guys lined up behind me).

And, looking at the chart, I go a bit rich higher in the rev range anyway.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Results - by the way, red line = pin 16 unplugged, which cleaned things up a bit:

I have the titanium 2-2 akra system,it has ear that is supposed to fit to the sidestand with a bracket, there is a dent in the left pipe to clear the sidestand. The headers on this system expands in diametern,I have noticed all the akra 2-2 pipes doesnt do this.Hope you can identify the specific akra 2-2 version that I have.
Anyway the bellypan air scoop wont fit,the front header has the lambda bung just so that it interferes with the air scoop of the belly pan.Its not even a close call, theres no way to mount the bellypan without trimming some of the air scoop.

Overall he exhaust was a total bitch to fit,I had to put a small dent under the linkage to allow for some clearance. The front header sweeps quite alot to the right side which is by the bung contacts the belly pan.
Is the exhaust somehow fitted wrong or is it standard to have to trim the scoop when fitted to standard tuonos.Im going to fabricate the bracket between the exhaust and sidestand, but want to be sure that it is mounted correctly.
As it is now both silencers are quite symmetrical to eachh other, there is a 6-8mm clearance between the linkage and exhaust, also the chain doesnt really rub the exhaust when correctly tensioned.
