Just Curious. I am thinking I can get a smokin' deal on one since the dealers can't seem to sell em'. Just want to see who has one.

IMHO, the SXV450 actually runs better and is more suited for racing than the 550.

Don't know about the dealers not being able to sell them, but like everything else, us Americans always want the biggest, not necessarily the best.

I want something to toy with on the street but hoping to get smokin' price on the 450 since the 550 seems a little bit harder to come by...

I wonder how it would do on the street....

Hey.. I was at Spectrum Drooling on your bikes on Sat.... Did I talk to you??

for a street use i think it's better the 550.

on small tracks it's easier the 450 , the 550 is too powerful and killer ;)

that is good but you need to pay more attenction with the 550.

many prof. riders say that. it's easier to do the time with the 450 at the beginning.

with the 550 u need time to understand how to give 100% full gas ;)

too much hps :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: ( oh yeah !! )

i got the 550 :)

Amauri, can you expand on this? Not challenging you, but looking for your opinion as I've yet to decide on which one to purchase (we don't get these till Octover in Canada and otherwise will get one from AF1).

The thumpers I'd be running against in F3 are all 450's and the power in the little rotax 4.5 should be higher and the curve should be better suited to racing than the thumpers, so not worried about power compared to the 550. But looks like the 450 is only a few pounds lighter. What else about it makes it a better race bike than the 550? Your opinion is appreciated.

the 450 it is easyer to take at its limit.

550 needs more practice and skill.

the power is very different.

on a track it's not difficult to make the best time with the 450 than the 550 at the beginning.

then after you are confortable with the 550, it's another story.

i bought the 550 because i use it 90% on the street.
more power is the best.

i love it ;)

( ops, i wrote the same thing before.... )

but, wonder if the 450 would keep with the SVs in BOTT, rider for rider? Most of the SVs are big bore kit too on the racetrack...
