SbikeMotard where in Italy are you?

4 of us came to Italy this year with our bikes. We tried to get an entry into one of the race meetings in the Motorsannio Campano Championship in Avelino but the Italian FMI man would not accept our entries :bangwall:

I am organising about 10 more riders next year. My parents live in Campania you see...

I have just bought an SXV 450...:)

No idea...they are as bad as the British ACU !!!...I was talking to the organisers and the FMI from February until May and when we got to the meeting the FMI would not accept our licences and papers  Anyway, we had a great time...we rode circuits at Battipaglia, Limatola a small Kart circuit near Morcone and also at Latina...

Looking forward to next year...:burnout:

LOL ...yes the FMI could, but I can speak Italian (well Neopolitan) so they understood fully...as they have never had foreign riders at a regional meeting, I don't think they could be bothered with the paperwork:confused:

:) :) ciao guaglio'! LOL:) :) I have not heard that for ages !!!

Your English is much much better than my Italian :)

We took 2 vans and our bikes and gear in them - I had CRF, the others were a CRF prepared by Aldini, a KTM 540 and a Husky 450 RR...

Hi dm666

No that wasn't me. I haven't been in the freeway with mine as yet.

Where are you buying yours from? My pre delivery was all handled very well i.e. no problems at all and mine was the very first of these Aprilia's to be unpacked and set up from A1 in Ringwood.. The service at the workshop is very good IMO.

Still waiting Luke45 - I am dealing with MotoOne - Found A1 to hard sell - And they insulted me with their trade offer on one Mickey Mouse Katoom....

OK so there is another one running around the SE suburbs somewhere...

OZRS - How is the run through the National Park on the SXV?

I'm not surprised by your A1 experience dm666. The guys in the workshop are great. The sales side of things however leave A LOT to be desired....

PM, me once you've taken delivery maybe meet up for a coffee & shoot the breeze about our new toys...!

Well picked, it was pretty damn good. I was just putting along before i got into the park and a naked bike sat behind me. When we got in their I'd slow right up before the twisty sections and let him catch up and then get into it through the corners and loose him, then slow up again. I did the run up to Wollombi the week before and that was better still. I am itching to get up putty road.

We stopped in there for lunch. Man the price of that stuff (Dr JJJ) has gone well up now that word has got around. First time that i've done that run and not seen a wombat!
