A run over the Stelvio Pass is well suited to the dualsport/Multistrada type bike. It is one steep, tight, gravel-strewn switchback after another.

Maybe shelved for longer?? :bangwall:

Anyway, this appears to be the look, most are going for...less dirty, more tar...

Guzzi will come out with the Stelvio/Quota, that's the trend. Also, Guzzi is matching BMW R series line up, the GS match will be next.
Regarding Moto Morini, beautiful bike that MM3. I believe that will be very close to the new Capo 1200.

The concept is great, I have had a Quota and a NTX. But to be really serious, they need to lose some weight off the motor, and anywhere else they can.

This is apparently the lastest news...not sure I like it...

I believe it is another bad photoshop from the usual whore site. Meanwhile I am positive Quota and CapoNord replacements especially after seeing over 31k R12GS sold in 06, about 31% of BMW total production.

cool...
I'd like to see it with hard bags on it.... It looks to use the same mounting points for the bags as the current MG....

Looks promising...
Wonder if MG has plans for a Dakar racebike?? :burnout:

Hmmm.... They need to develop side crash bars, a good sump guard, hard lugage, not sure about the h\lights ?? Front guard needs to be lifted if riding off road. And what is the weight??? They are going up against the GS series, or the Triamph Tiger. It looks to me more like the Tiger they are pitching it against.

Yes,Yes...Misters Staintune,Termni etc are hopefully working on cans as we type...I think pricing will kill it a bit... I'll eventually get one, when the Capo gets tired...but thats a long way off...at this stage...
MG will have a fight on there hands,up against Triumph...the new model Triumph retails in OZ for the same money as the previous model plus $2000 worth of touring extras for free!!

To be honest, the whole Guzzi range needs to come down in price to compete with Tryamph etc.
Notice the rims are not even tubless too.

true about pricing. About the rims I am pretty sure they will use similar to the Capo or as a base model ...castings.

Dunno...expect same rims as BMW/Capo etc
Will be very dissapointed if not...
I expect the usual buyer resistance on price...
...but makes them good buying in a few years...

If it is a comparable weight to the GS, and comes with ABS version (for those that demand all that crap) has bags/panniers, comparable price to GS or even cheeper, they could have a winner. It would have to out handle the GS though and have peformance to boot.
If all that stacked up, I would concider one.
Looks nice I think.

I think how they have tried to associate the tank with the front fairing/headlight surround is bloody orrible also.
The rest I quite like, although quite GS like (for obvious reasons)

I like it ALOT, I might sell my V11 and get one of these for the stable, I like the minor off road capabilities, I bet its uber comfy and as always way better than a beemer. Me wantie me wantie. Anyone wanna buy a V11 with 2 sets of bodywork and all kinds of hopups?
Quirky

I just might, but your V11 seems to be on the wrong side of the pond, so...
Anyway, about the Stelvio, gawd that's ugly! The rest of the bike is more or less okay, but that front with that screen and headlights is butt-ugly. Almost as ugly as the Suzook V-Storm. It's going to be interesting to take one for a spin, though, and to see what the price tag will be like. Too bad I can't go to EICMA this year.

I'll admit the head is ugly but its growing on me, and not what you look at when riding. Kinda reminds me of what I like about the 999, and what I didn't I wouldn't be able to see from the saddle. :plus:

But the V-storm's selling up a storm, lately :bump:

I was thinking about the same. All pics do not show the muffler, I guess not good enough to deserve a pic. I did not like the muffler as shown in the previous pics, although it did not look like a final product.

those pics seal it for me, I LOVE that bike now, in red baby, anyone want a 2000 sport for a good price? I got a TON of crap to go with it and by crap I mean really expensive parts
I had wanted a GS to tackle the urban jungle but they are about as reliable as a saab so I said screw that noise. I like the idea of curb hoping, butt comfort, guzzi reliability,1200 4v, Ok I gotta stop I'm going to burst
At first I didn't like it but the more I See it and the sublte changes(like the 4v) has me sold on this bike, I think the Aprilia for weekends and the Guzzi to Commute would be perfect, I already have those tires on my Guzzi as I like the slight motard look they give :blah:
