Thats a serious reduction on the list price and there's quite a few bikes to choose from. Very good news if you really want one at a discount.....but it would seem to suggest they're a bit of white elephant!!!

I agree with your statement, but who is selling these in Germany so cheap? Dealer or private owner. If it is a dealer, Aprilia distribution in Germany should step in and prevent this from happening. Some Sh*ithead dealers here in the USA are the cause of the Aprilia line seeing such a decrease in value over the past two years.

When we first started carrying Aprilia three years ago, every bike sold at MSRP. Everyone of those customers still owns their motorcycle and continues to love the Aprilia brand. The most common statemant heard from my Aprilia customers is that it is the best bike they have ever owned.

Aprilia USA did not do their job in enforcing advertising policies on their dealers and this was their downward spiral. We made phone call after phone call to Aprilia USA and spoke to everyone from Marketing to the General manager here in the USA. None of them made a move or stepped up to the plate. Now Vespa/Piaggio is left to pick up the peices which I may add they are starting to bring the brand back to its high level in the marketplace.

Our opinion on these dealers that whore out pricing is get out of the brand. You guys usually f**k up service on these bikes anyway, because you are more into selling and servicing Yamaha's or Kawasaki's.

Aprilia is a Ferrari like brand of motocycles and should be treated and sold as such!!!!

The new SXV's & RXV's are unbelievable in every way. Performance, technology, fit & finish. So, for a dealer to give these away is a joke. :WTF:

Do the conversion from Euro to American dollars and that equals about $9400. Last I checked these bikes were listing for $8699 for an SXV550. :bump:

You might want to update your Christmas list again. ;)
