Has anyone in the UK with the latest Tuono replaced their OEM mirrors? Would you be willing to part with the said OEM mirrors?
I'm thinking that they might work on an 04 Tuono...

I have replaced my mirrors on the new Tuono (they have been 0km on the bike!). The shipping will costs about € 10,00 or so (I'm from the Netherlands). If you're interested, please send a mail to info@xtremebikz.nl.

So Dilbert, do they work? Look better than the Mickey Mouse ears on the '04? I also have an '04 and the mirrors are....ahem... aesthetically challenged.

XtremeBiker,
There is an orange (i mean red) Tuono at a dealer near me and it came with an orange (I mean red) passenger seat. I was wondering if that is standard or did they make black seats too?
Personally, every time I see the red one at the dealer, I have second thoughts about buying the black one.
BTW, These mirrors look different, but I can see around my 200 lb. body.

is there no traffic in Phoenix? cause otherwise how do you filter through cars with that width (read somewhere in the forum that in almost all states its illegal to filter through cars anyway)

Thats why you buy CRG lanesplitters, they fold in when you need to filter through traffic.

Why does that windscreen look tinted??? Do tell. It's painted with special paint to darken the windscreen (€ 7,00, about $ 6,00).

Only in California my friend, and even when I'm riding there, I rarely do it.
The mirrors fold up or down out of the way. I actually bought them for my '73 Norton.

They come with the red seat only.
I think I'd swap it out for the black one when they weren't looking! Do you use it much? I've only had my daughter on the back once. It works better than the tail cover when you have to net something on on the back too.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Wish they'd make a screen like that for the new bikes.

exactly what I was thinking about
I think I will have to go with the tall secdem coz a 500 km ride to Athens is coming up and most of my riding buddies are on hayabushas which means the wind will blast me off my bike while trying to keep up. ofcourse i'm gonna screw it off after the trip :burnout:
They really work with the rest of the bike in my mind. Good score.
