Superbike Electrical Woes?

OK, we all know that Duc electicals are circa 1950's quality.... I replaced the stock battery cables with heavy duty battery cable for the 748-998 bikes.

They were about $35 and I bought them from Motowheels - I have no association with them what so ever - I just got tired of electrical niggles and this seems to have really helped... then again, installing them gave me a good reason to clean, tighten and inspect the whole shabang...



Also, FWIW - do NOT upgrade the front fork internals with a decent set of springs and/or valving, matched for your weight/riding environment... it will only cause you to realize just how bad the stock Showa rear shock is.... :bangwall:

Hank, Had a friend with a 748, he was my friend because I would fix is 748. It was almost with the hassle to ride on road with alot of fast sweepers.
