Does anyone use a Hyperpro rear shock or know if they have the same range of adjustment as stock ?
I've been trying to set a base setting, going from info i've got from one of the suspension threads on here but mine has 48 clicks of adjustment for rebound and 35 for compression (high and low speed), plus i dont know if the thread starts in the same place to set the preload....

You first need to measure the sag with you on the bike to set the pre-load. If I had no base line settings I would put all the damping adjusters well towards the soft end of the range. I find it easier to tell when things are too soft rather than when they are too stiff. Ride an undulating road and stop periodically and increase the damping on one adjuster at a time until it feels better. With both high and low speed adjusters this complicates things. Just remember that high speed is for big dips, rises, and bumps and low speed is for small dips, rises, and bumps.

Why not contact Hyperpro - I bet they have a base setting for their shocks - they do for their spring kits. If you don't get any luck try PDQ
