I attended the Level 2 and Level 3 Classes at Miller and boy was it fun. I have learned a lot and need a lot of track time to digest it. Having said that, I cant wait to go back to the track and do it again. Both days, my class size was 2 and I took advantage of it and was asking lots and lots of questions and all their staff were excellent in answering them. I think that I have become a much better rider and have gained a lot of confidence in my riding abilities above all, I had fun. One interesting side note is that there were a couple of guys from Oklahoma State Motorcycle Patrol (on their newly purchased hayabusas yes bought by the govt.) and they were ripping the track apart.

Nice! Were they running you guys on the AMA track configuration? I think it was JCR or Clarkie saying the other day with the track so new it's just eating up tires till they get some more rubber layed down... did you get a chance to notice any of that stuff? :burnout:

No, we ran the East track configuration and I think that speed literally screwed AMA races @Miller. They didnt bring enough cameras it seems and looks like they changed the track configuration (somebody correct me if I am wrong) A case of the tail wagging the dog.
As far as the tires go, I am simply not riding at the level of Clarkie or JCR :worship: and hence didnt really feel the tires getting eaten up. I was running in 2 minute mark and I think that they were probably half a minute or a minute faster per lap.
But the track is phenomenal. the run off area immediately next to the track is treated and is hard (I ran out of the track a couple of times) and i just stood the bike up and came back in. I have no words to express how well the whole facility has been designed and implemented.:worship:
