Anybody know anything about a Italjet F50LC? Suppose to have a 50cc Malossi motor (water cooled). Thinking about getting one because of gas prices. :bangwall:

foggy i dont know where you live but here in america it seems to be really hard to get parts for certain makers of scoots like italjet and malaguti to name a couple.. look go with the 02-05 yamaha zuma its carbed and simple electrics make it super reliable i have owned 2.. put 3 hrs of straight riding on it tonight i love this scooter! i have done some very simple mods and bingo 57 mph on flat straight away and 70mpg. 160lb rider. my Zuma has teeth now :fangs:
after that you can then try out a super slick technologically advaned scooter the Aprilia RS50R factory diTECH (my next purchase) 70cc kit performance pipe, ecu and a new injector - youll see 80mph!!:worship:
2002 Yamaha Zuma (black)
ported/polished 49cc (exhaust only)
ARROW extreme
modified air box/ jetting
lighter rollers in stock vari
MICHELIN reggae (130/90/10 f/back)
removed license plate holder/lower flap
sponsors vinyl applied to body.
top speed: 57mph (GPS) on flat straight away (160lb rider):blah:
Aloha, all. Depends on your area, but I would consider a Chinese knock-off bike, such as Vento, as they have the Minerelli engine and are cheap to buy. If in your area Hondas are the thing, then go with a SYM as it has a Honda engine. Vento/Yamaha and Sym/Honda are actually quite good. Both are a bit cheaply made though and will not last as long overall as scooters costing twice as much. A better model is PGO, made in Taiwan (which I have) I put 20,000k in the last 9 months without any breakdown other than battery, belts and performance goodies. But again,, if you have a good dealer/supplier in your area for a certain model of bike, then I would strongly consider them. frank

A friend of mine owns a dealership in Columbus, Ohio, and he deals in both Italjet and Malaguti. Picked up my Malaguti from him, and he has a couple of older 50 and 125 Italjets. No problem getting parts for me. Currently have him looking out for a Derbi 180...:)
