im telling you know, insurance premiums is just underaged gambling made legal! when you think about it, its alot of money wasted if you dont actually have a crash, yes i know, but your safe when you do blah blah blah

But me old man has clocked up about 30years ncb now you work out what premiums hes been paying, even tho it gets cheaper, he has spent a fortune on something he has never used or needed!

It's the law, you don't have a choice legally.

Call EVERY one on this list. Set yourself a spreadsheet up on your computer so you can keep track of the different quotes (TPO, TPFT and FC) from each insurance broker. Then play the best companies off against each other.

I've seen it in the past where I've called 15 insurance companies all quoting rediculously high, and then when I'm just about to give up, I've called the 16th broker and they've been really competative. Just keep trying!!!!

LEXHAM!!!! :gunner: (all other insurers)

All you people with Lexham, check your excess on your policy and your terms and conditions. I rang one place and it wanted £500 excess and another would only pay out if the bike was locked up, so check the small print... just because the policy is the cheapest doesn't mean its the best choice

Ring ChoiceQuote when you have finished ringing everywhere else too, as they will better any quote and have good deals on 125cc's!

The woman on the phone told me if I said it was garaged, it would have to be garaged ALL the time(if it was at my home) so it wouldn't be left outside for my insurance to be valid. She also said I can put it as parked on drive way and the premium will still be the same. Same goes with a security device, if you say it in your insurance and you don't use it all the time - invalid (don't know if they would know if it gets nicked as the thieves could of taken the locks aswell)

Early this year when I was phoning round places, one called me back and said (in so many words) that it was not possible to insure me. No explanations :WTF:

Bennetts quoted me but I cant remember how much, and their quote never changed no matter what security I made up, it stayed the same price
