GP Motorcycles (619) 233-4762 has received 2 of the new Tuonos, a Red one and a Grey one.

I think the red one is sold, or has a deposit on it.

This is the same place that I purchased an '04 Racing w/ 1200 miles on it and Akro/PCIII for $12,200 three weeks ago after sitting on a deposit for the '06 for a few months. Not a reflection on GP Motorcycles, those guys are great, but makes one wonder about Aprilia.

After seeing them in person and sitting on them (yes Red Bike dude I sat on your bike even though it said "don't touch", Bwaaahahahaha) - JUST KIDDING!
I am still happy and believe that the '04 Racing was the correct choice for me.

The new one definitely feels different, and not what I perceived to be "more aggressive".

Anyway, GP has at least one. :) GG

Just kidding... That was mine. Picked it up on Friday, rode Saturday. Awesome. Could not be happier. Traded in my 2004 Honda RC51. What a difference being upright and hauling your know what. The fun factor is 4 x that of my other sport bikes. I have complaints: why isn't there compression adjustment on the rear shoch? Playing with the front Showa, I get almost no noticeable difference on the compression adjustment. Just trying to sort out the chassis a bit, rides great as is, but I am confused about the lack of adjustability.

Also, what pipes should I get?

Dropping the front on the previous model helped with front end feel. It also steered much quicker especially with that 190/50 they put on there. That sucks you guys get short changed on the compression. As long as you get the sag where you want you can get pretty close. Gp is really nice shop I haven't been there in years. Probably one of the best in San Diego for european bikes.

GP is great. I bought a MV Agusta Brutale through them as well, and have sent friends there. I can't imagine the shock is not engineered for the bike. Feels good out of the box. Playing with the compression on the Showa forks provides littel difference as well. full hard or soft feels the same. WTF! Anywho, the bike works well. No complaints on the handling, etc., I just wanted to play with settings and get it even more dialed.
