View Full Version : BIG thanks to AF1 - parts help!!
HI All,
Just wanted to add my bit in to thank AF1 for helping me out. My 400 mile 2004 tuono turn signal switch packed it in. With no viable dealer anywhere close, and the parts situation a total nightmare. Called them (John?) they happened to have a salvage bike they pulled the component off for me. priority mailed it to me and I had it on the bike two days later.
Thanks guys!!

I would agree, their service is top notch!!! Too bad most dealers up here in MN don't have the same attitude towards customers as AF1!
pdub!

Yes, they are life-savers. I've been waiting 109 days on Aprilia to ship me a simple voltage regulator. I've periodically checked AF1, but they didn't carry it. I looked yesterday and low and behold! They are shipping the part Priority Mail, so it should be here Thursday, Friday it'll go in the bike and Saturday I RIDE!!! It's been way to long. Thanks for nothing Aprilia North America.

I AGREE! I've been waiting going on 5 months for mine. Warranty repair in my case so I have to wait on those dodos. Otherwise I would have bought one from AF1 as well.
An update on my bike. According to Jay, Piaggio has informed him that they do not have the part in country and have no idea as to when one is arriving. Seems shipping manifests are not part of their business plan. So it sits and I'll probably have to take the safety course over again so I won't fall flat on my face the first time I ride it.
First Aprilia can't find it's A** with both hands and now Piaggio has followed suit!! :gunner: PIAGGIO!!

I'm sorry that we didn't cross your path sooner. We have had many parts in stock that we haven't had sufficient man hours to get online. I am now performing an inventory of those parts and making them available as fast as possible.
If anybody else is dead in the water waiting for an obscure part, or even a common one, please call, we might be able to help.
