Parting out there 'special' kit???
I'd love a tuono racing belly pan.
Are those going to be available through Aprilia??

Yes - they will be available thru Aprilia.
Keep in mind you won't be able to use your sidestand w/the full race belly pan... but if you're racing, it won't matter, right?:p

we used a dremel tool on the belly pan to retain the kickstand. ya gotta be careful, but it looks awesome! i'm not willing to part with it, but its the way to go unless you plan on track riding only. i will part with the gp shift linkage if you're interested, though.

That's what I was thinkin,
Didnt think it'd be that much work to cut down the bellypan to allow the stand to clear....
Hope not anyway..

Cam chain tensioner failed on the front cylinder at startup on a new t-racing at the dealers yesterday. The owner of the dealership elected to buy it for himself. Before the bike was fired up, an arrow full ti dual system was installed w/chip. The motor needs to be dropped for the repair, and all kinds of correspondence need to happen between dealer, aprilia Italy to resolve repair……

How about a picture of the modified bellypan with the kickstand in the up position, and a shot of the bike from a distance- Please!! Also, have any Tuono Racing owners put a two into two system on, and modified the bellypan to fit around the second pipe?

okay, okay so just turn your monitor sideways! :p
the Racing belongs to my boss, mine is the regular old grey (and I freakin' LOVE it!). I wanted the gp linkage for myself, but out of my price range! :(
Our next project is fitting the Race front fairing (no headlight) and installing a set of motolights to ride on the street (they attach to the forks or calipers). stay tuned for pics when done-'til then these are the motolights...

Yeah, the linkage is a bit steep.
For that amount I'd get a set of rear sets with gp style and adjustable...
Thanks for looking into it though.

I am real intrested in seeing what the Racing looks like with the moto lights. I assume they will stick out from the sides of the race fairing? I would hate to see any holes cut in that. I am contemplating the bellypan mod. I have an Akro 2 into 2 SBK exhaust on order, and to fit that with the bellypan will probably require some extensive cutting of the belly pan. Don't know if I will do it or not. I will wait until I get the exhaust mounted and have a look see.

the motolights mount down low on the forks or on the brake calipers themselves-no cutting, drilling, fabricating. :) They are not something I would normally put on a sportbike-but I think it would be really trick to use with the race fairing on the Tuono racing. Then again, if I put 'em on my grey Tuono, being that they are mounted so low, it would be a nice challenge to try and grind 'em down a little bit in the twisties!!:D

...and send some pics if you can when you get the 2-2 pipes on your bike. I'm still debating if I want to go single or double, single being quick and cheap, 2-2 I'll have to save up for! :(
