For sale a pair of center plug heads & a kit sapc with a damaged case but works perfect as they are resin filled. Open to offers as I have a new bike coming this week & I need to repay the overdraft I have used to buy it.

Hi Andy, if the buyer does not come back to me with a payment today then you are next on the list for it. He said that a paypal payment has been sent but as yet its not in my account. I have asked him to contact paypal & to provide details of the transaction so that I can do the same from this end but that is the last contact that I have had so you may still get it. As I need the cash to buy a few bits to put my new bike on the road:burnout:

Nice one Mark! Money sent... :burnout:
Question to all with the race SAPC: should I see some improvement even with my Arrows exhausts still fitted? It'll work better with Sugaya / JL, etc, right? Maybe I'll upgrade soon, so, what, in your opinions are the best exhausts to match the SAPC without getting too top-endy and losing too much mid-range (bike is mostly street use / already done the Colin mod).
Cheers,
Andy

Whats the difference between "kit heads" and standard RGV250SP heads? Are they the same?
Got a set of SP heads or maybe it sounds better to call them kit heads for sale.

Kit heads are made for race fuel only and SP heads for pump gas but if it makes you feel better Chuck call tem what ya' like:)

Both have straight plugs, but each have different head volumes and squish.
Of course the Dave Cooper heads are top of the heap atm.

It will run worse with arrows than stock
To get the best out of the box get kit pipes or copies if you can't them JL are the only other that work properly

Thanks Colin, yeah Im planning to change to JL sometime in the future finances allowing. How come Arrows will be worse than stock? Thought they were "tuned" pipes at least to some degree.
Until JLs, is it worth testing out your theory? ie trying the stock pipes with the race SAPC VS stock SAPI and Arrows? What would "win"? :burnout:
(nb I have the o=ring / 1.4 base gasket mod, otherwise standard)
Cheers

No worries Andy
The Arrows are tuned to the stock ign curve & the kit sapc advances to much
The way this set up works is the kit pipes are tuned for top end & peak power the ign box advances much more to give your mid range back whilst getting an substantial increase in peak power

Sure I can see that Arrows and kit SAPC gives bad top end, but will it not give better low and mid-range torque with all that advance? I already got some extra mid with the oring mod
