Hey it looks like they fixed the rear brake. Wish they had done it sooner.

so you guys that can view the movie, when you click the link for it, does it open a window and have a "loading" bar that runs across the bottom?

Niente for me!

I think the web page is hosted by Aprilia's Spare Parts Division.

Works like a charm...no problems here. Beginning of the video is good. Just before the end was pretty lame...good ending though.

Cool video..

guys who can't view it probably need to update their Flash: www.macromedia.com

Yeah, good call...updated to MacFlash 8.0...all is good. I can finally rest easy. Cool flick...

So, are wheelies really that much easier on v-twins, or are those guys just realy good...granted a lot of rider skill needs to be there, but they just made them look all too easy. Let the front end down, then back up a bit, just all too smooth...

Unfortunatley there is a squid lurking within me i guess...even though I'm no good on wheelies with the FZ1...it'll do them, but at 70mph its too rich for my blood i guess.

:WTF: is up with the first 15 seconds of that video? They have an animation of a person doing a wheelie (like an international symbol) with the circle and line through it (As in 'No Wheelies')?

Then the entire video is devoted to the awesome Tuono doing wheelies! I think their marketing guys and their lawyers are having a circle jerk. :spankie: Just admit you are selling a bad-ass bike for doing wheelies and get on with it.

Good point, Derbybrit...however, Find me another cycle mfg's website with pictures or videos of their bikes doing wheelies...no Yammy's, Susuki's, Kawisukies, honda's...ducati? please, they just wanna look good...guess that leaves it to Aprilia. So, while the lawyers are in their circle jerk, I'm gonna love the wheelie pics and vids.

JetFever,

You are a wheelie hooligan ever since you took that class. I think you do wheelies because the front tire chirps like when you land a 747. :burnout:

You are right Marc, I love the sound of a good landing! Anyone know of a Burnout school? That must be next!::burnout:

I think the Hot blond (De Nardi) in the video is a rider/racer? There is an inteview on the site but its in Italian, She is in full leathers...:bangwall:

The funny thing about the promotional video is that here in Italy we have (believe it or not), since last August, a law which strictly punishes wheelies and other amenities like that. In particular, the motorbike is immediately seized and confiscated, no matter it is a Vespa 50 or a RSV Mille Factory (or some unusefully expensive Ducati).
So, since the most of Aprilia Tuono's are sold in Italy, I think that this is kind of suicidal marketing behaviour or something like that. Also because wheelies is actually the only thing that transpires and that is present in that video. The only thing you learn from that video is that even a beatiful woman is able to make wheelies on a Tuono, if you guys pardon me the sexist joke.

Carlos, is that being enforced everywhere? That's a tough reality!
