07-24-2003, 06:16 AM
This is my RS250, i bought it like this, i think the painjob kinda sux, and am thinking of getting a new glasfibre fairing and having it painted like rossi's 98 RS250.
Here's what i did to her:
Fitted a rgv factory kit exhaust and matching ignition box.
Fitted Valtermoto ergal rearsets.
Fitted Rico's Racing Research carbon rear and front mudguard.
Fitted Goodrige stainles brake line's.
Fitted GP500 thin racing windscreen.
Fitted Carbontech carbon reeds.
Fitted AF1 highflow airfilter.
Fitted AF1 billet top clamp.
Fitted WP steering damper
Exchanged all steel fairing and some other bolts with ergal, and exchanhed the steel bolts of the brake calipers with titanium.
And i've only just begun...

Well, i want to get some OZ or Marchesini wheels, a 316 cilinder set, full floating rear disc, wave discs for the front, or other lightweight discs, glasfibre fairing with a 1998 rossi paintjob, carbon tank, WP suspesion front and back, some Valtermoto lightweight clipons with carbon bars, titanium boltsets for eeerm wel for everything really, oh yeah and alluminium bolts for where titanium isn't needed, and there's more but i cant think of it right now...

You are indeed right about the carbon seat unit, but i don't want to lose the ever so handy whatcamacallit eeerm glove compartment or eeh trunk/ boot in the back of the bike cause i can stash my dope eeerm eeeh rainsuit in there, and my tools too...
Hmmmmmmm kinda weak excuse aint it grmbl...
Now i have to start saving again to buy a new carbon seat unit... Damn yous peoples i says damns yous alls to hell ;) ;)
