When he answered my questions this week about his Alligator motorcycles and possible future models, Dan Gurney signed off saying he'd like to get his hands on the 450 vee twin Aprilia motor.

I've seen Dan a few times up on Ortega at the Lookout. Nicest guy and loves to talk to anyone interested. His bikes are quite the trip, but it's funny how a lot of the manufacturers are exploring those ergonomics now. I guess he'll get the last laugh.

Also, Eagle Racing rebuilt the crank on my CX500 Turbo
