It may be covered somewhere here, but I need to know if anyone has info on how to convert a 2000.5 Mille R to a 2 up model? :bangwall:

you need a biposto subframe, the pass pegs with brackets, and the rear seat. Easy and direct bolt on after that..

Try to find it used as new it runs over $800 for all of that.

i think this is the same guy (with 14 posts here) is parting a bike out, at least thats what he posted. instead of offering stuff to us-the aprilia dedicated- stuff went to ebay first.

if you look at the sellers other items i believe he has the whole set up but i don't know if it will fit your bike. its coming from an 02.

khan, did you actually use that without the tire rubbing! that is hilarious! i work part-time at a shop and this lady has a sissybar made of conduit - with the corners!!! your set-up takes the cake though. i will try to get a pic of her 'rig tomorrow.

Well I'm very ashamed and sad to admit that I did it for a very attractive female who, at the time, was very interested in me. It cost all of $4 for the zip ties. I cut an old mop handle down to size, drilled some holes, and filed in some notches (very poorly I might add) so they wouldn't slide too much. Belive it or not, it supported my 227 lb fat ass. At least for a few minutes. Of course this only works because I don't have an "R" model but if your tapped on both sides for dual exhaust - well nevermind... :D

Interestingly enough the girl cut all contact with me (before she even went for a ride). I later found out it was because I'm of Middle Eastern descent. And who said the human race was advancing? :D ;)

Sal, not sure if it's any consolation but at a time or another we all had the latest object of our lust cut all contact with us....and provenance had nothing to do with it, but they always had "some" reason. :cathat:
