Aprilia RSV 750? Or something like it?

I heard, a while ago, that Aprilia might be making a smaller sportbike - like a little brother to the Mille. Does anyone know anymore about this?

Personally, I think something like a 750 V-Twin priced under $10,000 that could give the 600s and Ducati 748 a pounding would be sweet! Especially on the track! I mean, I'm sure I'm missing a few marketing and demands issues - but just off the top of my head I think it would rock!

I was just curious if anyone knew anything about this! :D :)
