Are you selling the leaver and master-cylinder seperately? I already have that exact master cylinder (Its the brembo 19x18 right?) But I would like the folding lever and the mount for the reservoir... Is that possible?

Forgot to add that we may make the levers for the standard cylinder also.

Hi,

they look great!,

But can someone explain to me the concept of all this radial / master cylinder / remote clutch etc... I have no idea what it all means?

thanks! :)

Prices will be published on completion of project.

Remote adjuster: A dial mounted near clutch lever allows you to adjust brake lever travel via a cable. This means on a track day or in a race if you want to adjust the lever you can do it without moving your hand off the throttle..............for road riders; it just looks cool.

Thanks again!

Sean, can you and DC look into clear fairing panels so we can see the heads, they are a work of art.

PV pulleys and that whole set up have to be the next thing please. I had special cables made by venhill to try and stop the cable ends turning in the pulley and it still happened !!!! There's so much play in the assembly you wonder if its worth spending much time setting them up accurately.

Time to start saving up I think.

I agree, there's got to be a better powervalve pully set up, they should be able to both work off one motor too like the Honda Rs250. It has the pulleys connected and the motor just turns one.

Fork bottoms in progress. It doesn't happen over-night, they ain't pixies at DCR you know...........they do sleep! ;)

PV pulley's are being looked at by my request a few weeks back.

Radial cylinder gives more feel as the lever acts directly on it in the same direction rather than via a pivot.

Beany, coincidentally I spoke to DC last week about new PV cables, as one of mine had jammed solid. He said the original parts were as good as you can get - and that I should just replace them more often! He also recommended using a penetrating lubricant with Teflon, to oil the cables before putting them on the bike (and to re-oil them occasionally).

When looking at the PV pullies I noticed mine were worn loose in the middle, this was leading to the cables either being too tight or the pully would be too loose. So in the end I replaced all the cables and the pullies on both cylinders. I couldn't find the Teflon lubricant DC recommended, but Silkolene do a cable lubricant with graphite (which I figure will do much the same job as teflon), so I used this - and a cable lubricator to apply it.

A solid billet pully might reduce wear on the cable end-blobs? Strange that Dave didn't mention it on the phone when I was talking about the cables... you'd think he would want to sell a couple if he was going to be making some?

I only asked him about making some a small time ago. He has much bigger things to worry about than a couple of pullies to be fair.

We are looking at it.................promise! :-)

I think I'm just gonna get the holes drilled out on the pulley and an insert made for the cable end to sit in. This insert will be wider than the pulley itself so the cable end can't rotate. I guess it will then need to be brazed into position on the pulley wheel.

I am trying. I am planning to go over for a big meeting soon to thrash it all out as we have tons of stuff to sort out. I work full time and Dave is also extremely busy with it being mid racing season. Unfortunatley as much as Dave wants to help and do all he can he has his priorities. It's not my place to speak for him but I see it as we should be patient and see what we can get. Things should pick up for us as a community by November when the racing is finished and he may have a quiet couple of months.

I know it seems slow paced when you are sat waiting for parts but when you are involved it seems to be steaming along lol
