Actually, I'm near Shelby, which is west of Charlotte.

I just got the Mille the weekend of October 12.
It's red, so it feels completely Italian.
I'm a Honda refugee, so give me a while to blend in.

My name is Mark ('01-R). There is a pretty good Mille contingent just west of you in the Greenville SC area. Come by TouringSport BMW/Aprilia some Saturday and you'll probably run into me. Both Frank Shockley & Joey Subrizi work there and are WERA racers who ride Mille's. Those of us who don't race have all done several track days this year with the guys from the shop. A great group of guys to ride with!!...IMO. Frank is the WERA Southeast Heavyweight Twins Expert Champion this year, and is also the GM at Touringsport. Everyone who works there rides. Joey works at the parts counter and has done very well this year in the WERA novice class. They can help you with all your parts and service needs.
