Highland House on Sunday's RT 41 + 22(half day rd)

Greg from Bolingbrook outside of Chicago.
I have a 2000 RS50/75 and a 2001 Falco.
When my 60-hour-a-week work schedule and my busy family of three daughters lets me, I ride towards the southwest: Morris, Seneca, Ottawa, Utica, etc.
I plan on doing go-kart track rides with the little bike and real track rides with my Falco( go to www.sportbiketracktime.com).
Ride safe.

I'm in Libertyville
I just signed up for a track day with Sport Bike Track Time at Road America. Anybody familiar with them?

They are awesome. You will have a great time at Road America. I did laps on my RS50/75(albeit slow laps) and I demo'd a Falco(which I eventually bought) and a Futura.
The track ride is very well run.
See you there!
Ride safe.

Rockford, IL - not quite Chicago but close enough. I just got an 02 mille R, coming off a CBR 600. No comparison.
I was glad the weather finally warmed up I couldn’t stand looking at my new bike any longer, I needed to ride.

I'm in Romeoville. Where has everyone bought their Aprilia bike from? The few dealers up here seem to care less if they get business or not...

Make sure that you do NOT go to Power Motor Sports in Palatine, IL... these guys suck :pissed: !!!!!! They could care less about the customer, they just want the sale. I should have listened to everyone else when they told me about this place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Manfetti----Hopefully you read my thread titled "The worste dealer in Illinois". I posted it on every section of this forum. So everybody would know.
I have never dealt with a dealership like that. So did you see there website--"#1 Aprilia dealer in the Midwest" yet they only had 2 bikes from Aprilia on the floor.
For some reason MCC is always 25% cheaper on special order Aprilia items.--Funny how that works out huh????
I wonder if Power Motorsports reads this forum, afterall, they are #1.
What a f***in' joke that place is!
Also, if you want to save $5K on those stupid redneck bikes--go to Detroit!

Sorry, I didn't see that thread... but now i know. I will be sure to pass the word along and take away as much business as possible. These guys deserve to be shut down.

I've heard some pretty bad things about Power Motor Sports myself.
A relatively new place has opened up on Wells street in Chicago called " Old Town Motorcycle Shoppe" Last time I was there he had 4 Aprilia's on the floor.I was looking for an RST Futura. The best price I could get was $11000. (Ended up buying used.) Kind of a foofy boutique type joint, but the guy was accomodating enough, though.
I haven't done any business with them but I think I'll probably have to sometime down the road... I heard that MCC has dropped Aprilia. Can anyone confirm?

The place you're talking about downtown, "Old Town Motorcycle Shop" is owned by the same people that I bought mine from in Joliet.

These guys couldn't have been nicer! Great to deal with and not just looking for the sale. I HIGHLY recommend them~!!!

I was at the Joliet location in February (on one of those 60 deg days), and they said they didn't carry Aprilia's. Sounds like that has changed, which is a good thing :)

If your in the Joliet area you can always go to Superbike Italia. Ken is a very knowledgeable mechanic with experience with Aprillia. Formerly of MCC Ken started his own shop and has been open for the last few some years. He was in Lemont but is now located off !st Ave. He just moved so ill try to get the new address posted here ASP, since my bike is there i should get the info soon. :peace:

Out of curiosity, has anyone dealt with Arlington Motorsports? I recently bought my bike from them and so far, I'm not very pleased with their service.
They said I probably fouled one of my plugs and they had my bike for a few days now awaiting a new spark plug. I've worked on cars in the past and usually when you foul a spark plug, you just wait til the gas dries from it and reuse it. Am I missing something?
