Putnam Park

Anyone familiar with Putnam Park in Mt Meridian? I'm located just South of Indy and was curious to know of any Mille riders that go to Putnam.

I have never been there, but I know a guy who races Aprilias for the Aprilia dealer in Bloomington. He frequently goes there.

Do a track day with Sport Bike Track Time. On many occasions it was a majority of Mille riders.

I raced a 4 hour WERA National Endurance race there last season. Great track! Some of the track operating rules were a little goofy but none of that affected the on track experience. The surface was amazingly easy on tires. I would put it on par with Barber Motorsports Park in that respect. The layout is clever and despite being a bit narrow physically it flows together nicely. In my riding experience I rate Putnam a strong second behind VIR.

I'll be there on Sept 27th for my first trackday. I went through www.DesmoIndiana.org. Be nice to see some fellow Mille riders.

I will be there the 28th on my 03 GSXR1000. I haven't got the nads to take my Edwards Edition. Not going to take a chance on it until I get suspension worked out.
