Red 00.5' RSV Mille - VIN # ZD4MEE003Y5000501
(Will look up Motor # and add to post)

Bike had approx 8,500 miles

Modifications:

1. Evoluzione Ignition Amp

2. Power Bronze Windscreen

3. 6 Spoke, BMW Silver PVM Magnesium wheels

4. Silver Mototek rear sets, with carbon fiber heel guards

5. Renegade Oval Carbon Fiber Full 2 into 2 exhaust
(mine are the only set in the USA with the Renegade Logo Badges riveted onto the cans)

6. Renegade Air Kit

7. Carbon fiber side panels

8. carbon fiber rear hugger & chain guard

Distinguishing marks:

1. Rear cowl was scratched from falling off bike

2. tank has a few minor chips in paint that had been touched up, but are noticible

3. minor scratch in frame where shifter was jammed into frame during low side

4. rear fender had been removed and Evol intergrater and license plate relocator were on the bike

5. Silver Lion head logos on side fairings

6. Renegade Logo on left side fairing

7. Decals removed from rear cowl and tail section

Any information will be appreciated. We need to pull together and stop this crap....I will do everything in my power to have these bastards prosecuted!!!!

6 months after my bike was stolen it was recovered in Puerto Rico!!!! Not too far from Connecticut, USA :mad:

At least you have closure. I had a FZR1000 stolen and recovered...at least a few little bits were recovered.

Nope...when the police "recovered" my bike they said it was "all there" on the phone...when I arrived (100 miles away) to pick it up it was completely gutted...they wanted a $140 "recovery fee"...in addition to two days impound fees...I told them to go f@ck themselves. I am totally over FZR's now.

I loved my FZR1000..10 years of reliable service...I ws a yamaha man for life till I saw my first Mille...After my freind endoed my FZR into a mustang..WHat more of an excuse did I need:O)..Love my Mille;O)

I understand. I put 57,000 miles on my FZ750, 21,000 on my FZR1000, 10,000 on my FZR600, 5,000 on my RZ350, 5,000 on my SR500...I even have the Yamaha tuning forks tatooed on my back.

funny you say that. the officer that investigated the theft called me to inform me that once he spoke to someone at the PR Police dept the bike seems to have mysteriously disappeared....wtf.
